"Master ceramist come to learn at Holmesglen

Associate Professor Michel Magne from the University of Southern California recently presented his highly skilled dental techniques to a group of fifteen master ceramists (dental technicians who specialise in crown and bridge work) at the Chadstone campus dental laboratory. Holmesglen’s current dental technology students were able to listen to Michel’s presentation during the two day conference.

Our students also had the chance to meet some of the dental technicians, who were very impressed with our facilities.

It is hoped that Holmesglen can develop work placement opportunities with a number of local participants in this course to complement the students’ learning. It was a terrific opportunity to showcase our facilities and promote the course to the dental technology profession."
